The sugar turned into gold when Skåne Kulinar took home the victory at Culinary World Cup in Luxenburg last month. An achievement in itself and an even bigger achievement for Örenäs own head chef Jonas Nilsson, who with the gold medal can call himself “Champion of desserts”.
Jonas has been working with food since he was 15 years old and his interest for desserts and sugar arts came to him when he was working on a luxury cruise ship in the Caribbean. Now he is working at the castle and we could not be more proud over his great result. Once again we wish both Skåne Culinar and our head chef our biggest congratulations!
