A historical meeting point

for modern people

A historic setting that’s right up to date

Built by sugar beet pioneer Carl Tranchell, Örenäs Slott was completed in 1918. Today we are one of the biggest conference facilities in Skåne, and the only one with a Baroque castle.

A stay here, whether for a conference or a leisure break, is more than just a visit. It’s a complete experience. Sustainability is our watchword and we have the flexibility to meet a variety of needs. Our restaurant in the castle building serves authentic dishes from Skåne using organic, seasonal ingredients, while Ålabodarnas Hamnkrog is a more rustic dining option with a menu that celebrates freshly caught fish from the harbour.

The best of the season – organic and locally grown

Our genuine interest in food and our great commitment to a high-class dining experience, not to mention love and respect for the ingredients we use, see us making the most of Skåne’s local food culture with all its exciting, clean flavours. Our popular restaurant in the castle itself and the new dining option Ålabodarnas Hamnkrog in the fishing village just below Örenäs Slott’s grounds, both serve the best local food there is.
